iGuard Security is offering full and part time positions for individuals who are a highly motivated and professional with the ability to work with little supervision. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills. They will also have the ability to provide excellent customer service, be highly reliable, work well under pressure, multitask and to be a leader as a security professional. Successful candidates may be required to consistently patrol properties, provide crowd management, issue directions and deal with difficult people. Successful candidates will attentively document and handle all security issues, building deficiencies, emergencies etc. Required Education, Qualifications and Experience · Valid Ontario Security Guard License · Valid Standard First Aid and CPR · 1-year Security experience (preferred) · Computer literacy Duties and Expectations The Security Guard will utilize the post orders, duty briefings and our app-based task/incident management system to conduct their duties. They will provide superior customer service, security, and protection to our clients and the client’s property/assets by: · Maintaining positive, professional working relationships with residents, clients, and visitors. · Patrolling site and securing premises as required by site post orders · Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming · Ensuring that the privacy of residents, clients and staff information is handled with a high level of discretion · Ensuring that all forms, manuals and policies are adhered to in the appropriate manner · Ensuring client property is secure in accordance with post orders · Monitoring cameras, events and situations in accordance with post orders · Responding to alarms in accordance with post orders · Providing access control to client properties in accordance with post orders · Completing daily logs, written reports and time sheets as necessary - all electronic Required Skills and Abilities · Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency response situations with minimal supervision · Ability to maintain a courteous, patient and polite attitude towards residents · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Advanced computer skills · Understanding of security related principles and technology · Strong attention to detail · Own vehicle or method of transportation is an asset Job Type: Full-time and Part Time Salary: $15.00-$16.00/Hr.
