Job Description Job Title: Mobile Support Officer Location: Mississauga Job Type: Full Time PAY: $18.00 HR - $20.00 HR Overview Mobile Support Officers, under the guidance of the Field Operations Coordinator, are responsible for providing effective oversight, support, break relief and back-up to all designated patrol areas. To maintain and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Sets a professional example to all Security Guards. To perform Field Work as necessary and Administrative support functions as required to facilitate the position. Makes recommendations for improvement that will increase the effectiveness or benefit the service delivery to our clients Essential Job Functions • Prepares Special Occurrence Reports for any incident that directly involves Security and/or safety. • Prepares Daily Reports, Inspection Reports and Spot Check/Mobile reports as required. • Provides break relief functions to all designated locations assigned to them. • Performs pick up and drop off of employees as necessary to ensure client obligations are met. • When book offs occur on short notice, works a post until relief can be arranged. • Conducts thorough inspections of company vehicle and equipment every shift and reports deficiencies immediately. • Assists in ensuring appropriate staffing levels by monitoring Site Requirements. • Ensures all posts are covered in accordance with our contractual obligations. • Uses proper and acceptable methods in monitoring all Guards, while remaining within the guidelines of the Company Handbook. • Inspects all posts on a regular basis to ensure conformance to company policies and procedures. • Communicates instructions from Head Office to all security staff. • Performs a reasonable amount of overtime as required. • Other duties as required by the company from time to time. Required Skills and Abilities • Strong Customer Service skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding work environment. • Strong team player. • Comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovative workflows. • Flexibility to work all shifts, and willing to assist the team with overtime when needed. • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, PowerPoint and excel. • Has conflict resolution skills and is able to use them effectively. • Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance. • Maintains the confidentiality of employees, clients and the company at all times. POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Must be 25 years of age or older. • Must have a valid G License and a good driving history • Must be bondable. • Above average verbal and written communications skills in English. • Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License • Minimum of 2 years employment with iGuard or its affiliates and/or one of the following requirements. a) Previous Security Supervisory experience (1 year) b) Previous Security Training Experience c) Sufficient prior industry related experience (i.e. Police, Military, Security). d) Formal law enforcement training or Diploma.
