Ontario Security Training has now partnered with the Herzing College Police Foundations Program.  Ontario Security Training graduates will receive an advance standing and tuition credit.

For those who are truly interested in serving the needs of the community, police work is very rewarding. Whether dealing with the security concerns of a store merchant, talking with a senior citizen, or befriending a group of local kids, the job challenges are complex and fulfilling. Police work requires the building of relationships in the community and sensitivity towards the needs of people from all races, cultures, and backgrounds.

This program prepares students to work within a community to ensure public safety through crime prevention and law enforcement. Areas of study include policing, interviewing and interrogating techniques, sociology, and criminology, criminal investigations, forensics and evidence. The program includes the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and Restricted Firearms Safety Course. Once completed, students can apply for their Possession/Acquisition License (PAL) and will go through a security screening process to qualify.
